A Year of Growth

Torat Chaim’s unique location (on a quite hillside in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Romema) creates an inspiring and relaxed environment that makes your year at YTC a year to remember. Of particular note is the stunning panoramic view of the Judean Hills from within the Yeshiva. Beyond the walls of this pastoral setting lies a short walk to both the Kotel and the central bus station, allowing you to take full advantage of all the benefits of living within the holy city of Jerusalem.

A Warm Environment

At Yeshiva Torat Chaim we believe that the classroom setting and atmosphere of the Yeshiva should help facilitate a meaningful and honest relationship between our students and the Torah that they study. That is why our ‘classrooms’ are composed of small, intimate study groups, wherein the Rabbi and students collectively discuss, think about and attempt to understand the Torah, what it means, and how to best apply it to our lives and the world in which we all live.

The Rabbis of YTC are diverse in their opinions, but united in their ability to teach the Torah in a sophisticated and serious manner. Steeped in the knowledge that learning begins with a question, they help create an honest and inquisitive educational environment which enables us to delve into the Torah with both our hearts and souls.
